What

IS

Family

Family can mean many things to many people. At Riverside, we see family as a loving, supportive network of individuals who come together to worship, serve, and support one another in their faith journey. It is a place of safety and connection, where people can be open and honest about their struggles and joys. We believe that family is a vital part of life and that Jesus the cornerstone of our faith.

Small Groups

The purpose of RCC's Small Group ministry is to provide an environment where participants experience authentic community and spiritual growth. Through developing relationships, spending time in prayer as a group and studying God's Word, this growth and community is developed. Always seeking to grow both spiritually and in number, our small groups welcome newcomers and even seek out those that aren't a part of our small group ministry. Without a strong community of believers around us in which we are able to open up and share or ask questions, it is very hard to grow as followers of Jesus. That's why we believe this is important! God designed us to live in community, leaning on each other, while relying on Him. We look forward to having you join us!

Youth Group

RCC’s Youth Ministry exists to develop adolescents into fully devoted followers of Christ. This means that we desire each student to have made their faith their own and that they are committed to all that it means to follow Christ and be a part of His kingdom on earth. We come together for class on Sunday morning, midweek youth group, as well as during other activities. Also, because of the student’s deep commitment to Christ, it is our hope that his or her faith doesn’t stop with them but is a contagious faith that spreads to other students in our community.

Playgroup

Playgroup is a great way for moms, dads, grandparents or primary caregivers and their children to meet new friends at Riverside. We meet every Wednesday morning during the year at the church or at the park. We supply toys in a safe, welcoming environment to play in. There is no charge and no obligation. Just show up with your child, or children, when it works with your schedule! Every child has to be accompanied by a parent or a caregiver. Children may not be dropped off. This a great way to watch and guide your child’s interaction in a group setting. Many long-term friendships have formed through our group. Come and join in the fun!

Riverside Kids (ages 4-5th grade)

RCC’s Children’s Ministry provides a safe environment for children to build relationships and learn what following Christ is all about. We support families in cultivating a lifelong love for Jesus and a foundation of Bible knowledge in the future leaders of our church and communities (Proverbs 22:6). We offer Children’s Church on Sunday mornings during our second service.  On Wednesday nights we have our Travelers Group. The travel theme captures the hearts and imaginations of children, engaging them with activities, Bible stories, prayer, and much more. Children will learn about God and His faithfulness as they journey through these adventures.

Riverside Littles (birth -4 years)
RCC’s Early Childhood Ministry, serving ages birth through 4 years, provides a nurturing, safe, and welcoming environment for every child. We believe children are a blessing from God and are very important in His kingdom. We offer a well staffed nursery on Sunday mornings during both services.
